Few fairs, but a good window for factory visits and for starting to plan next year’s trip.
Of the trade fairs in China in 2027, which already have a confirmed date, which are still a forecast and which are not held at all: month by month, with city, sector and the guide to each one. Use the calendar to find the fair for your business and plan the trip in good time.
The 2027 fair calendar has a problem that the 2026 one did not: it is October 2026, and most organisers have not yet published the date of next year's edition. So this page separates what is certain from what is a forecast. Each fair carries a tag: Confirmed when the 2027 date is already on the organiser's website, Expected when the date circulates on fair-listing sites but has no official notice yet, and Typical month when all that is known is the time of year the fair usually falls. Checked on 1 October 2026; the next review is in December, when organisers publish most of the dates.
Two patterns already show. The first is April: the spring Canton Fair (141st edition), CMEF, HK Electronics, Chinaplas, CIMT and Auto Shanghai fall between 9 April and 5 May, and Chinaplas and HK Electronics take place on the same days, in different cities. The second is the biennials: 2027 is an odd year, so CIMT, Auto Shanghai, CPSE, CISMA and Marintec return, while CCMT, Auto China, Bauma China and analytica China sit out until 2028. Since the lead time for importing from China runs from 60 to 120 days and Chinese New Year 2027 falls on 6 February, the decision to go to an April fair happens, in practice, in February, precisely the month when China is shut down. The guide to planning your imports in 2027 shows this calculation backwards, month by month.
Canton Fair 141st, CMEF, HK Electronics, Chinaplas, CIMT and Auto Shanghai between 9 April and 5 May. Six heavyweight sectors competing for your agenda, and Chinaplas and HK Electronics fall on the same days.
The absolute peak of the year: the three phases of the Canton Fair (142nd), Yiwu, HK Electronics, CIIF, CIAME, DenTech and, in 2027 only, CPSE in Shenzhen. This is when it pays most to combine fairs in a single trip.

Golden rule: fair dates and even cities change with each edition. This calendar serves to plan the cadence of your trip and your campaigns; before booking flights and hotel, always reconfirm the date on the fair's official website. BCVN follows the calendar and builds the itinerary from the confirmed date.
Which two months have the most trade fairs in China in 2027?
April and October. April concentrates the spring Canton Fair (141st), CMEF, HK Electronics, Chinaplas, CIMT and Auto Shanghai; October brings together the three phases of the Canton Fair (142nd), the Yiwu Fair, HK Electronics, CIIF, CIAME, DenTech and, in 2027 only, CPSE. These are the peaks of the calendar, and so the best months to combine several fairs in a single trip.
When is the Canton Fair in 2027?
The spring edition is the 141st and, by the fair's usual pattern, runs in three phases in Guangzhou: Phase 1 from 15 to 19 April, Phase 2 from 23 to 27 April and Phase 3 from 1 to 5 May. The autumn edition is the 142nd and follows the same cadence, from 15 October. In October 2026 the organiser had not yet published the official calendar for these editions, so reconfirm on the fair's website before buying a flight.
Which fairs are not held in 2027?
The even-year biennials: CCMT (machine tools), Auto China in Beijing, Bauma China (construction) and analytica China (laboratory). All of them return in 2028. In exchange, 2027 brings the odd-year biennials: CIMT, Auto Shanghai, CPSE (electronic security), CISMA (sewing machines) and Marintec China (naval).
Which 2027 dates are already confirmed?
On 1 October 2026, the ones confirmed by the organiser itself were PCHi (24 to 26 February), Dental South China (3 to 6 March), CIFF Guangzhou (18 to 21 and 28 to 31 March), Chinaplas (13 to 16 April), Auto Shanghai (23 April to 2 May), China Sport Show (13 to 16 May), SNEC (2 to 4 June), the Guangzhou Lighting Fair (9 to 12 June) and CPSE (28 to 31 October). The rest are marked as expected or typical month.
Do Chinese fairs change city from one year to the next?
Some do, and it is a common mistake. Chinaplas, which was in Shanghai in 2026, is in Shenzhen in 2027; the China Sport Show, which was in Xiamen in 2026, is in Chengdu in 2027. So the city should also be checked on the official website before booking a hotel.
How do I choose which Chinese trade fair to visit?
It depends on your sector. General retailers and e-commerce sellers find almost everything at the Canton Fair and in Yiwu; the professional buyer, such as a clinic, a workshop, a farmer or an optician, gets more out of a sector fair, such as CMEF, CIAME, Bauma or CIIF. BCVN builds the itinerary that combines the general fair with the right sector one for your business.
Plan your trip
With so many fairs in the same window, the challenge is not finding opportunity, it is organising the itinerary. BCVN decides which fairs to visit, combines the general with the sector one, handles the logistics between cities and sits in on the meetings at source. That is 18 years connecting Brazilian importers to the right fairs.
